I think the term is being human. There's probably a subset of employees that are motivated by doing something positive and new at their job which takes up a good portion of their life. It's fun to create things. You see it in other apps as well. Things like the new Slack changes where I've yet to hear of anyone who asked for or liked them. What would be better is if companies gave that need to create a better outlet than changing things for 100s of millions of people.
