- Zigurd 3y agoThe wild thing about this is that Elon thought he was clever getting a head start on the takeover. The SEC can and will show exactly to the dollar that he materially benefitted from lower prices on the shares he bought before disclosing he was accumulating shares. This is the multibillionaire version of stealing an airplane and crashing it, and then being billed for the fuel.
