These aren't perfect, but to me they are startlingly good. Even after conversing for hours with ChatGPT now I'm still impressed. Its meme decoding appears to be at least on par with my own and maybe better. It's one thing for computers to be better at math, but for them to become better than me at ambiguous social interpretation is scary. What happens when algorithms become better than us at reading a room? Computer assisted schmoozing?
- pbw 3y agoI agree I think it does a very good job. The last two were even not horrible, but it missed a key detail in each one. If it can get as good with coming up with memes, not just describing them, that would be pretty wild.
