The title seems a bit misleading, since this includes things such as estimates for increased veterans costs until 2050 and homeland security counterterrorism efforts.
- paxys 3y agoHow is that misleading? Soldiers have to be paid. If that's not a cost of war then what is?
- bnralt 3y ago“The cost is X” isn’t the same as “The projected cost through 2050 is X.” There are multiple comments in this very discussion that mistakenly thinking that the total is the money that has been spent rather than the money that will be spent over the next few decades.
- postalrat 3y agoWhen someone buys a house don't they look at all the payments they will be making as the price and not just the ones they have made?
