Net Neutrality was gone for five years and... nothing happened? At all?
We can talk about the misdeeds of software platforms like Facebook or X, but has there actually been any quantifiable real harm generated by the repeal of Net Neutrality regulation since 2018?
- Mountain_Skies 3y agoMost complaints revolve around mobile service, which IIRC, was never subject to NN in the first place.
- wmf 3y agoIt wasn't permanently gone; ISPs know that NN will come back if they misbehave. ISPs are also raking in money from peering extortion that nobody mentions.
