I have the same interference with the microwaves at work. There's also a small plaza in what's considered the very center of my city where I get tons of interference (sound basically keeps cutting as if I was losing connection). There's a subway station underground, and some trolley cables suspended in the air, so maybe there's some sort of power converter underground.
