"Authors may object that the outputs of generative AI systems will harm the value of their works." I do not see this addressed adequately anywhere in the article. Granted, it is addressed, but not in detail or with any solution that is palatable. I imagine this is what people are most concerned about, and only a tiny part of the article addresses these points. People must be incentivized to create, and compensated fairly from that. If the current law cannot make that happen, and I am definitely not convinced by this article, then, the laws need to be changed.
