I wonder why the OS does not let the application peek at upcoming incomplete data.
- londons_explore 3y agoThere is an API for this on Linux. It's used to checkpoint the state of a TCP connection, for example to move a live TCP connection to another machine incase you want to do zero downtime hardware replacement while keeping all TCP sockets open.
