Just make it illegal and seize the car for destruction. Same effect, and fairer.

- jonathankoren 3y agoSeizing property used in the commission of a crime is done all the time, and has been done for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. What do you think happens to guns used in a robbery, or illegal drugs? You think they’re being sold off in a GSA auction?
- josephcsible 3y agoFor drugs, destruction makes sense since they're inherently illegal. But since you can legally own guns, they should be auctioned off.
