Show HN: I build a dedicated news site for AI developers (think HN for AI/ML)
Think of HackerNews, but only for AI content.
Did build this out of the wish for easier discoverability of new technologies in the AI/ML space.
Obviously, so far only a tiny small community, but maybe a few of you find it nice to be around and want to post a link there every now and then :)

- l1am0 3y agoIt is meant to be its own thing :) To kickstart the content on the site it pulls from a few places (including HN). That will vanish over time with more user activity
- ash-ishh 3y agoNice! I see there is an option of communities to organize the posts, should there be a way for user to create or submit the name of community that is not present? Also, I have a crawler which fetches blogs from OpenAI and DeepMind if there is a community for blogs I can plugin the code to post those articles there as well.
- l1am0 3y agoThere will be an option for everyone to create communities in a few weeks :) Which ones do you want? Will add them by hand! That blog plug-ins sound awesome. Can help you set it up with the news.aiapipro.com api, if you want. Shoot me a message via ainews@simon-frey.com pls.

- l1am0 3y agoThe entire page is based on Lemmy (https://join-lemmy.org/ https://join-lemmy.org/). I disabled a ton of features and interface parts, as IMO the original lemmy interface is super noisy. Runs on bare-metal with docker-compose. For the facelift, just good old CSS :)
