SBF ~~is being made~~ has been made a fall guy for the crypto ponzi promoters. This is *not* to say crypto is a scam. The scam is ponzi selling to people that didn't have a clue. No pyramid schemes are sustainable, all need a scapegoat. In hindsight, SBF should have known better, should have had better adivsors, should have found time to realise he needed better advisors. However he shouldn't be the scapegoat for hundreds of organised ponzi scammers at the top, of which some of the thousands of followers they have are here on HN still believing. The hundreds of powerful vested interests will keep facilitating negative stories that put SBF in the spotlight keeping them out, hoping for a catharsis where people give up caring, and providing prosecuting authorities found asleep at the wheel a similar catharsis. I look forward to reading Michael Lewis's new book.
