- LinuxBender 3y agoLooks like a fun project. If you are looking for another way to slow down your connection then play around with tc's netem delays [1] You may have to make two sets of rules, one for your interface and then you may need to make an ifb interface as well depending on your cabling setup to also slow inbound traffic. netem can give you fine grained controls over added latency. - amir_wepn 3y agoawesome! Thanks for the feedback. I would love to give it a try. If you have any suggestions about future experiments please do let me know. I was also thinking to redo the TCP attack but this time from a third computer on the network. For that I have to make some changes to network adapter (seems like promiscuous mode does it) I guess. another one I would like to try is SYN flooding attack.
