AmiFox, Chrome-based browser for classic Amiga
- snvzz 3y agoThe magic: >It is a very similar project to Opera Mini. It is using a virtual Chrome browser on our backend that basically is remote-controlled by AmiFox sending back images of the webpage and processing mouse clicks and keystrokes. Thus is is leveraging another computer to do the grunt of the work. Of course, this doesn't detract its usefulness, but to the contrary. Open source browsers that run natively do exist, such as a port of netsurf.
