A while ago my wife was at home, ill. I wanted to call her, ask how she was doing. She didn't pick up. So I start looking at my Home Assistant dashboard and adguard: Adguard logs say she read some news, Unifi integration agrees, lights suggest it was while in bed. Motion sensor in hallway suggests she went outside briefly. Recent short spike in full home power use use 2200W indicates she made tea then a spike in gas and bathroom humidity suggests she's having a shower right now. The thought occurred to me that I could make a "wife status card" on the dashboard. Guess who's not going to pump all that data to Google. (Btw, I turned of Adguard logs soon after this realization, it was eye opening though.)
