I love stuff like this. Mathematics was always a struggle for me (possible dyscalculia) but I kind of suddenly understood trigonometry more as I watched a CNC drilling machine moving on the X, Y, and Z axes to make various angles. It made me go from "when will I ever need to know advanced math" to "OK now I see why math is important (even if it's hard for me)". I just leave math to the people who are good at it and actually enjoy it :)
