Of course there are underground chambers there, and some very regular geometric ones to be sure. It's a remnant extinct volcano stack, silted over, with substantial amounts of columnar jointing. I have no idea if they've actually found entrances to any, of course, I haven't watched the docos on this site - but other similar places have kooky spaces and impressive tunnels that look designed, so . . .

That it would have inner chambers like Cholula or Giza is not unexpected. I don't know if they've tried to excavate any yet, it's what they see on the ground radar and other sensors.

Not sarcastic at all! What makes you think that? I'm totally genuine, I thought the smiley and exclamation would convey the enthusiasm! I feel sad it didn't come across for you. :( Anyway, they have it in the show. They use ground radar and some other sensors and they find 3 large rectangular caverns with tunnels between them. It's amazing!

    Cool! :) Ah, I want smileys to convey friendliness not sarcasm or smugness. I just think text can be so "plain" heh, and I hope to make it more positive, or the interpretation anyway. It's funny that smilies are often interpreted as smugness...heavy sigh
