Show HN: Duolingo for Finance
Short, easy to read chapters and fun quizzes, mixed with gamified learning to help you manage your money better.
- sneh_kagrana 3y agoLearning finance is boring. Who wants to read those long blogs anyway? So with Fingo, we are trying to gamify learning finance. We have around 600 chapters live covering wide range of topics from how to open a bank account to how to analyze a banking stock (and everything in between).
- higgins 3y agopretty fun! the first quiz i did noted Indian markets. does the app reference other international markets?
- sneh_kagrana 3y agoCurrently the content is geared towards Indian markets. But will look into customisation based on country (currency symbol, country-specific case studies and financial products).
- max_ 3y agoWould be great if it had a table of contents I could see before having to sign up.
- sneh_kagrana 3y agoWill figure a way to show this. The changing words on landing page was an attempt to fix for a similar request. Will find a better way. Thank you for the feedback.
- chaosprint 3y agoif it's going to be like Duolingo, then you should have some initial capital and then try to earn more money
- ksherlock 3y ago... and every 6 months it should reorganize, rename, and remove features.
