I think the larger level of success requires larger amount of luck. To he mega successful like Jeff Bezos, the amount of luck required is so huge that probably none of us could achieve in 100 life time.
But for smaller successes, like building a profitable lifestyle business, I’d argue it requires much less luck (still needed regardless).
Also there are 4 kinds of luck:
- Pure luck: out of our control. This is where most people referring to
- Luck from motion: hustling, grinding, increase luck surface area. This is where most founders find their “luck” comes from
- Luck from preparation
- Luck from uniqueness

As Warren Buffett said, his skills in resource allocation would have been irrelevant if he was born during the Hunter-Gatherer period. Who knows what us code monkeys would be doing just a few decades ago when trading was done on the trading pits of Wall Street rather then electronic trading. địa Lợi = Position and having an edge Nhân Hòa = being in harmony (with other people) The people aspiring for non-Mega success can at least cultivate the last two.
