    I never said we should not credit people. In fact nowhere in the thread have I expressed a single should or ought style opinion on anything. Rather I'm pointing out that this is some weird "back in my day things used to be X" where we're still in that day and I can clearly see with my own two eyes that things aren't X. Whatever other ills can be laid at llm code generations feet, icons not getting credited isn't one of them.
