AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss is $7.50/month
So you're looking at ~$20/month for a phone that Apple will replace instantly if it breaks or gets stolen. Is someone who doesn't have access to credit really going to be able to afford a cheaper android phone and the tools to repair it and the parts to repair it?
- twiss 3y agoFairphone offers a "Fairphone Easy" plan (in the Netherlands only, for now) for €14 per month for the 60 months plan (€19 per month for the 36 months plan), which includes repairs etc. So if you're planning to keep it longer than 24 months, it'd be cheaper, yeah.
