I love rotary engines but even I can acknowledge their mechanical deficiencies. But I will still love them regardless. I'd love to see some new engine concepts

I love rotary engines but even I can acknowledge their mechanical deficiencies. But I will still love them regardless. I'd love to see some new engine concepts like an electric drive vehicle. I think I heard some cars do this but need to double check.
