Show HN: A CLI project tool for VSCode with devcontainer support
- strangelove026 3y agoThanks for this! I constantly open projects with `code .`, and have tired of waiting a few seconds for the `devcontainer configuration detected` popup, and then another few seconds while the project re-opens in the container.
- michidk 3y agoExactly! The devcontainer-cli that can be installed using vscode contains a `open` utility that opens it as well. But the one available in package managers and npm does not have this, because they want this to be IDE-independent. It is also quite slow and requires node.
- strangelove026 3y agoAh, didn't know it was a thing. Kind of gross it's only installable with NPM however
- declan_roberts 3y agoCool project. I'm not sure why but the brew version isn't installing the mac ARM64 binary: -bash: /opt/homebrew/bin/vscli: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error $ file /opt/homebrew/bin/vscli /opt/homebrew/bin/vscli: ELF 64-bit LSB pie executable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), static-pie linked, stripped I actually don't see any ARM64 releases.
