    Must be, because average ad revenue per US user and month seems to be ~$20. Edit: corrected year to month

      The population segment that skews the average up is almost certainly not the same as the segment that will pay for this. In fact I strongly suspect that people who say "I'm immune to ads so I won't pay to remove them" are the ones who skew the monthly revenue average up.

  There will still be ads but they'll be in the form of sponsored content, embedded ads like when a movie only has GM vehicles.
