- AMICABoard 3y agoScreen shots are here: https://twitter.com/VulcanIgnis/status/1708851772435968017 https://twitter.com/VulcanIgnis/status/1708851772435968017 Check out the repo to learn how this is done from scratch.
- solardev 3y agoWish they'd just put screenshots in the repo rather than that unusable website
- AMICABoard 3y agoI feel you! Here it is: https://github.com/trholding/llama2.c#new---l2e-os-linux-kernel https://github.com/trholding/llama2.c#new---l2e-os-linux-ker...
- solardev 3y agoYay, thanks! Love the LCARS look :)
- AMICABoard 3y agoGlad you like it!
- belter 3y agoLooks like they made a whole OS, just to help Twitter raise their user views stats...
- AMICABoard 3y agoOkay not really. The screenshot is on git now.
- gerdesj 3y agoThe boot sequence is hilarious.
- AMICABoard 3y agoLOL :)
- belter 3y agoThe OS should have the following default users: Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scott, Sulu, Chekov, Uhura. Default password: BeamMeUp123!
- AMICABoard 3y agoAccepted for the next version
- throwawaymaths 3y agoI think you mean default password ZeroZeroZeroBootZero
- AMICABoard 3y agoNow I am conflicted. Let's vote for a default password!
- taneq 3y agoShould be “hellocomputer” but you have to say it out loud in a Scottish accent.
- whalesalad 3y agoAm I crazy or is there TempleOS influence here. They don’t seem related at all yet this seems to borrow some branding/naming.
- AMICABoard 3y agoI am a Terry fan. I wanted to honor him with the "Temple DOS" version name. It's just the name of v0.1 of L2E OS.
- Citizen_Lame 3y agoNot sure if he is right person to honour.
- AMICABoard 3y agoRead his story here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_A._Davis https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_A._Davis

- AMICABoard 3y agoHopefully soon. Have to build it out.

- aidenn0 3y agoBack when I lived somewhere with TV reception I used an open-source DVR with an LCARS interface. I'm totally blanking on the name of it though.
- squarefoot 3y agoCould it be MythTV? It has a LCARS interface. https://www.linux-community.de/ausgaben/easylinux/2016/02/smart-linux/ https://www.linux-community.de/ausgaben/easylinux/2016/02/sm...
- aidenn0 3y agoThat's it. Thanks!
- AMICABoard 3y agoI think I used MythTV in the days when TV tuner cards were a thing.
