When I wrote that comment I had no idea the blog writer was a furry. Now that I do however I am even more sure that his reasoning for not wanting to be in a public setting is even less worthy of generalization than I had originally thought.

But you read the article before you wrote your comment, right? And if anybody looks at the content of that article, they can quite clearly tell the author is a furry...so how did you not realise this, given you read the article before you wrote you comment? Hmmm.

  People who aren't very familiar with that culture might just assume that the author likes cute cartoon pictures of animals... I don't get why it matters?
