I want to be hired. I live East to middle of nowhere, so I work remote, I spent my whole life getting barely paid for doing stuff in some esoteric programming languages and so my resumé would look totally ridiculous. Screw it, I don’t have a chance. It’s not what you can do, it’s how many buzzwords you put in your CV. So yes, I want to be hired, but I can’t convince anyone to do it as I am bad at it.

If it's helpful, I want to point out that 100% of your comment is about what you "can't" do. So even if someone was looking to hire someone exactly like you, they wouldn't be able to tell.

Sad that you have this problem too, my problem is not wanting to work full time, thats why I work in other industries and use my tech qualifications doing hobby work for personal enjoyment only.
