ChatGPT Wrecked Our Type of Content
- PaulHoule 3y agoI think that if you are writing that sort of thing and thinking of it as "content" you are already doing it wrong and deserve to have ChatGPT eat your lunch.
- tjr 3y agoAs long as we're talking about long-form technical content going back to the 1990s, I have yet to read anything from ChatGPT that is as engaging as, say, articles or books by Philip Greenspun or Peter van der Linden. Maybe (maybe!) ChatGPT is writing content that is correct, but that still doesn't make it good writing. As is attributed to Frank Zappa, "The computer can't tell you the emotional story. It can give you the exact mathematical design, but what's missing is the eyebrows."
