The Great Zelle Pool Scam
- bell-cot 3y agoAt $Job, our first encounter with "Zelle" was an on-line seller who accepted payments only via Zelle. So - we called our bank (which happens to be one of the co-owners of Zelle), and asked for their advice on the situation. After being transferred a couple times to reach a "Zelle expert" there...he told us to never pay by Zelle if we had other options. Because (not directly said) Zelle's Only Really Distinguishing Feature was that it was "no recourse" if the person receiving the funds was dishonest.
