- dangus 3y agoThat figure also included unaccounted negative externalities, like the future earnings of those who die in car crashes. The value of a human life in the US is estimated at around $10 million, so if you have 30,000 people dying in car crashes nationwide per year you’re looking at prorated losses in the hundreds of billions.
