A lot of over-the-counter lab tests are pointless and have no therapeutic benefit. Look up a company called Functional Diagnostic Nutrition. They sell lab tests through people who pay to go through their program, but the tests don't really tell you anything. The company is making millions of dollars and in my humble opinion it's a total scam.
