- rch 3y agoI was about to ask the same, but it's good to raise general awareness.
- xigency 3y agoI’ve done reference interviews but never sought a security clearance. Any info for a clueless taxpayer?
- keepamovin 3y agoYou can't seek a clearance. Only the place employing you can sponsor/initiate the process.
- xigency 3y agoI could just as easily apply to the same places as my friends.
- keepamovin 3y agoI thought it was interesting. I saw this on my LinkedIn today: On Oct. 1, 1980, the Industrial Security Program, the Key Asset Protection Program and the Arms, Ammunition and Explosives Security Program were transferred to the Defense Investigative Service (predecessor to DCSA) from the Defense Logistics Agency. #DCSAHistory Looking at their website it seems they mostly do the vetting process, but seems there's potentially many other things under their umbrealla as well.
