facebook has been like that for years but its only a problem when X does it lol
- snypher 3y agoTwitter had a distinct advantage in that non-users could still, er, use the site and read threads and replies without logging in. Personally I have known not to click on Facebook links for years, but I could still give an ad impression to Twitter now and again. Now I just avoid Twitter links all together.
- rsynnott 3y agoI mean, doing that was arguably one factor in Facebook fading into cultural irrelevance some years ago, yes.
- stainablesteel 3y agoi know a lot of people feel this way but its still the most visited site worldwide
