I’ll be convinced of twitters demise only when I stop hearing about twitter 9 times a day.
I remember waiting for Facebook to evaporate a decade ago too. Then I started hearing “Facebook” in the news every night and saw the logo on the back of Sugar packets at the cafe.
If anything - this is the biggest “no press is bad press” experiment of all time.
- yanderekko 3y agoYeah, when the primary complaint about Twitter is "other people are using it to say things I dislike", then that seems like a pretty.. motivated critique of the platform.
- rsynnott 3y agoFacebook never evaporated… but it did become _irrelevant_. Nothing _happens on Facebook_, or at least no-one cares about what happens on Facebook.
- aworks 3y agoI find Facebook groups good for my niche interests. I stopped using Twitter, though.
