Madoff got what he deserved and punished accordingly. He died in prison. SBF will probably get the same treatment. They both stole from too many big name people. I would love to see these franchise owners charged the same way with a few years in prison. It's time to pierce the corporate vail. If businesses commit crimes than businesses should be out in some form of business jail and also including a business death penalty by disallowing the business to operate entirely with the proceeds being put into a receivership that disadvantages the owner. When entrepreneurs violate laws behind their corporate veil, punish them accordingly and watch businesses start taking that into consideration.
