I've been told by multiple Indians the best place to get Indian food is in London. Even compared to India itself in some ways it's better, as you can get food from all the different regions in one place.

- syndicatedjelly 3y agoLifelong Indian here, London and Amsterdam had the best Indian food I've ever had outside of India. I've tried Indian restaurants across most large (and many small) cities in the US, in several countries in Europe, and obviously India. And then regularly eat/cook south Indian at home. To rank roughly: 1) Home 2) India (anywhere) 3) London 4) Amsterdam 5) San Francisco 6) New York City 7) San Diego 8) Los Angeles 999) Rome
