Micron Delivers HBM3 Gen2 Memory Samples to Nvidia, Customers Blown Away
- ulfw 3y agoI am having a hard time taking that article seriously with odd math, such as: "The DRAM will operate at 9.2 Gb/s, a 50% boost over the standard "HBM3", which runs around 4.6 Gb/s speeds"
- kristianp 3y agoIf the increase in capacity is 50%, then we should see 120GB GPUs from Nvidia in the next generation. Does this mean the H100 uses 6xHBM modules? 6*16=96GB, downgraded to 80, (5 out of 6 stacks enabled).
