I thought 3G networks have been shut down in the US? (Not living there but I remotely maintain some devices with cellular modems over there, so the topic has somewhat of professional interest.)
- spacebouy 3y agoThey have not. 2G networks have been shut down, however.
- joecool1029 3y agoIncorrect, T-Mobile's 2G network is active until this coming April. Both their 3G networks (theirs and the Sprint legacy one) are shut down as they used more spectrum. Keeping GSM going the spectrum use is minimal.
