- dragonwriter 3y agoYeah, obviously testing is an ethical issue (!) but I think there are pretty obvious reasons to think that lots of indirect physical correlates of fighting ability will be stronger in people who are conditioned to be near their maximum attainable fighting ability than in the general population, since some of those will be more direct correlates if maximum attainable fighting ability rather than current ability.
