I am not surprised by price gouging, what I don't understand is why the EU would be able to buy the drug cheaper.
Surely the EU negotiators are just as inept/capable/honest/corrupt as the US ones?

- Guvante 3y agoWhat US negotiators? Pretty sure the US cannot negotiate most drugs and instead has to pay market rate. So Insurance companies/Pharmacy companies set the price and the US government pays it. If you see the problem you are more aware than Congress.
- fxtentacle 3y agoAs Yanis Varoufakis so famously joked, German price negotiators will skin you alive. Maybe they just are more effective at reducing prices than their US counterparts.
