The article was about life, not intelligent or technological life, so communication isn't relevant.
- simonblack 3y agoMaybe so, but my point remains. Communication/knowledge collecting whether by intelligent life-forms 'over there', or by humans actually going over there and looking, or by Terran robot systems going over there and looking on our behalf are just not feasible. Humans are hampered by their extremely short life-spans and generations. And the Universe is unbelievably huge.
