Also: you are an expert in something. Half the time the SME will spend a large chunk of their time being lectured by a developer with no domain knowledge, but a deep conviction that the SME is doing it wrong.
- cm2012 3y agoThe worst thing here is when developer leads have strong personal feelings about things. I've seen a company sabotage its own growth for years because a CTO was uncomfortable with Javascript tracking tags. When they finally relented we were able to 2x our growth rate.
