Ask HN: Could a pregnant woman with COVID-19 pass the virus onto the child?
Disclaimer: I am not pregnant, nor do I have COVID-19. This is just a rethorical question I thought of two days ago.
- averageValentin 3y agoThere have been a few documented cases where vertical transmission might have occurred, but it appears to be a rare event (most newborns tested shortly after birth are negative for the virus)
- tredre3 3y agoRhetorical means you know the answer, so let's avoid the inevitably emotional debate and just tell us the answer!
- TowerTall 3y agoAt this point. Who cares? Corona is a thing of the past. It might still be around in a few places but it is no longer a problem.
