For the TLDR: Insider was a investment bank analyst dealing with mergers and acquisitions. The insider was smart, used Signal to communicate, never bought a single companys stock and used a childhood friend to buy and sell for him. It all went south when law enforcement got in contact with the friend, his friend lost his nerve and turned on the insider, recording their messages and conversations. Sounds like he didn't vet/prep his friend enough.
