Probably about the same level of smooth as getting X Windows working well on Windows.
- seabrookmx 3y agovcxsrv worked pretty well in my experience! It eats your CPU for breakfast, but before VS Code Remote SSH I used to use X forwarding to get a get a Linux VS Code window on my Windows box.
