So if you are admittedly a newcomer maybe you shouldn't try to tell people how to write programs? Edit: I didn't mean to be rude, but from my own experience I know that a lot of times when you don't like something it might be because that you don't understand it, and therefore it might be more fruitful to ask why something is in a particular way, and only after ask people not to do it, if that makes sense.
