Agile may well be a sham, but this statement: the success of the coding-part of a project is dependent on the calibre of the engineers doing that coding and not the process they follow. seems to me obviously untrue, for >3 engineers, and the larger that count gets, the more process you need. As an engineer I find that statement very appealing, but experience suggests it's off base.
