- seabass-labrax 3y agoIndeed, I'm from Britain. I really hadn't ever heard of Rayban - and I only know what Luxottica is because I looked it up after reading this thread :)

- herbst 3y agoTo be fair they are barely relevant in my circle and more a fashion piece for the older generation. It's not like teenager or young people around here think it's cool to have expensive cheaply made glasses

I'm of the older generation (in my 50s), and at least in my circles, Ray-Bans aren't particularly cool either. They're not exactly un-cool, but they do tend to be worn by a particular sort of person.
