This is somewhat misleading. "Sudafed" has always been Pseudoephedrine, which does work. Sudafed PE (the PE was obviously a tongue-in-cheek move by the manufacturers referencing "placebo effect") is a different thing. You can still buy real Sudafed but you have to get it from the pharmacist's counter.
