Distance to mouse means I either have to stretch my arm in long-term unhealthy positions leading to shoulder, neck, and upper back pain, or offset the keyboard and have the non-keypad not front and center. Typing numbers on a single row is not an issue for me, so numpad brings me little benefits and significant drawbacks.
