With such a long list of new features and changes, I'm surprised my two favourite issues are still a problem in Windows Terminal, which every other terminal mulator gets right:
- The Control-Space key combination doesn't send anything. (Aka Control-@ or Control-2). It's supposed to send a NUL character, and is used as set-mark-command in GNU Emacs and some other things. Works fine in real VT terminals (as Control-2), and most other terminal emulators.
- The cursor or character under the cursor become near-invisible with some character colours, due to lack of automatic cursor contrast. I found this to be a problem when running text editing apps that change the background colour from the default. No configured cursor colour was usable for both the shell and the editors.
Luckily for me I'm not using Windows any more :-)
